We offer an “old-fashioned chat” – with quite a bit of life experience and plenty of our own mistakes to call upon. We can meet for a coffee in person or a chat on the phone. We won’t stick you on a couch, make you smell scented candles, or get you to talk endlessly without offering any ideas or ways forward. It’s a proper grown-up conversation we’re offering with a few practica l suggestions.
The format is simple; we book an hour in a cafe;
you talk, we listen; we make suggestions. It’s an approach that has worked for us. We know it will work for you. Come back next week or make it a one off – the choice is yours. It’s not “therapy” or “coaching”, We don’t offer “advice”, We aren’t the “experts” but we are very good! The approach comes from the idea that when we have a life problem, we need a peer to help us think it through, not an expert to tell us what to do (or worse, not to tell us what to do).
